Oh that is not good. Lost in translation, this is! Translation errors like this is inevitable. If only we are speaking the same language then maybe we cannot be wrong to whatever words we are going to spit out. But there are gazillions of languages all over the world so intensive translation is needed to make everybody understand which is which. But still, errors can be corrected, right?

Errors certainly do happen, but in this case the company sent their text to a professional translator (me) to have it checked before publication. If only more business would be as sensible!

No error is inevitable. It is indeed sensible, nothing more and nothing less, to have your translation done and then checked by someone with good authority. Alas, in places like Spain and Uganda, and increasingly in such others like Germany, common sense is not en vogue.
